How do I post a job in Canada on Canada Careers?

Recruiters and consultants use a third-party consultant account and post under each client company.
How much does it cost to post a job?
Each posting is $14.99 + GST per month — $15.74 CAD in total with 5% GST. It renews automatically every month until you cancel. There are no setup fees and no contracts.
Can I use a Canada Careers posting for LMIA recruitment advertising?
Canada Careers is a Canadian job board that employers can use for recruitment advertising, and every posting has a printable record of advertisement. Use Print on the posting page: the record shows the job advertisement, the date it was posted, how many days it has been published up to the date printed, its status, the date printed and the web address where it is advertised. You can keep that record for your LMIA file. Canada Careers is not a government service; whether your recruitment meets the requirements of a Labour Market Impact Assessment is decided by Employment and Social Development Canada, so check the current rules on canada.ca.
Can I reach newcomers, youth and Indigenous job seekers?
Yes. When you post, tag the audiences the job welcomes: professionals, new immigrants, Indigenous peoples, refugees or youth. Job seekers can filter by those tags, and new postings reach the job alerts of seekers whose profile matches. A tag signals who is welcome; it never excludes anyone from applying.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel from your dashboard with one click. Your posting stays live until the end of the paid period and is then archived. You can also cancel immediately.
How long does approval take?
There is no approval queue. Your posting goes live the moment your payment is confirmed — usually within a few seconds.
