A full work address
Every posting carries at least one complete work location — street address, city, province and postal code — so you know exactly where the job is before you apply.
The employer’s operating name
The name you know the business by is shown first, with the legal company name beneath it — never a hidden agency or a blind ad.
Clear pay and requirements
Salary with its period (per hour, day, week, bi-weekly, month or year), education and experience from standard lists, and an industry category — printable on one clean sheet.
Pricing
Free for job seekers. Always.
Who pays, then?
Employers and third party consultants pay a small flat fee to post — $14.99 + GST per posting per month for employers, $9.99 + GST per posting per month for third party consultants. That keeps the job bank free for every job seeker, with no pay-to-apply and no featured-candidate upsells.
Your resume is only ever shared with the employer or consultant behind a job you choose to apply to.

FAQ
Questions job seekers ask us
Is Canada Careers free for job seekers?
Yes. Creating a profile, uploading your resume, applying to jobs and receiving job alerts are all free, and always will be. Employers pay $14.99 + GST per posting per month to post; third party consultants pay $9.99 + GST per posting per month.
Do I need a resume to apply?
You need one resume on file. Upload it once (PDF, DOC or DOCX, up to 5 MB) and every application uses it automatically — or attach a different one for a specific job.
How do job alerts work?
Your alerts are built from your profile: the job categories you choose, the provinces you will work in, your keywords and your skills. When a matching job goes live you get an in-app notification and, if you like, an email — instantly or as a daily digest.
Can I apply if I am new to Canada or do not have Canadian experience?
Absolutely. Employers on Canada Careers tag each posting with the audiences they are hiring for — new immigrants, refugees, Indigenous peoples, youth and professionals. Tell us who you are in your profile and postings from employers hiring for you rank higher in your matches.
Who can see my resume?
Only the employer or consultant behind a job you applied to, and only the copy you sent them. Your resume is never publicly listed, never searchable, and is served only to signed-in owners of that posting.
Can I withdraw an application?
Yes. While an application is still marked "Submitted" you can withdraw it from your Applications page.
