*Job Overview*

We are seeking a friendly, dependable *Cashier/Customer Service* team member to create a positive shopping experience. This role combines accurate checkout and customer support with retail sales, merchandising, and product guidance. You?ll help customers find the right products, demonstrate features when appropriate, and keep the sales floor organized and welcoming.

*Responsibilities*

• Greet customers and provide attentive, helpful *customer service* throughout their visit.
• Operate the *POS* system, process transactions, and handle cash accurately.
• Use *basic math* to verify transactions and provide correct change.
• Answer customer questions, explain product features, and conduct *product demos* as needed.
• Support *retail sales* and *technology sales* by learning product details and matching options to customer needs.
• Apply *upselling* techniques thoughtfully by suggesting relevant products or services.
• Assist with *merchandising*, including stocking, arranging, and maintaining clear, attractive displays.
• Keep the checkout area and sales floor tidy and organized.
• Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers, including using professional *phone etiquette* when handling calls.
• Manage competing tasks with strong *time management* and *organizational skills*.

*Qualifications*

• Previous experience in *cashiering*, *cash handling*, *customer service*, or *sales* is helpful.
• *Technical sales experience* and familiarity with technology products are an advantage.
• Strong *communication skills*, a customer-focused attitude, and attention to detail.
• Comfort learning and using POS systems and other retail technology.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle transactions accurately.
• *English* proficiency is required for clear communication with customers and coworkers.
• *Bilingual* or *multilingual* abilities are a plus.
• Dependability, a professional approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: $15.70-$16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
