Montessori Assistant ECE

*Overview*

The Montessori Assistant ECE supports a welcoming early childhood classroom, helping children engage in teaching and learning activities, build confidence, and participate in daily routines. This role works closely with the classroom team to foster a respectful, inclusive environment where each child can learn and grow.

*Duties*

• Assist with classroom activities and teaching, adapting support to children?s needs and interests.
• Encourage children?s participation, communication, and early math learning through age-appropriate activities.
• Support children with disabilities through attentive, respectful assistance and inclusive classroom practices.
• Communicate observations and relevant updates with colleagues to help maintain consistent support.

*Experience*

Required: Clear communication, patience, and practical ability to support children?s participation, learning, and classroom routines are important for this role. Comfort assisting with teaching and early math activities helps create an engaging learning environment. Preferred: Classroom experience, early childhood education, and experience working with children or individuals with disabilities are valuable strengths. Your impact: Your support helps children feel included and enables colleagues to provide consistent, responsive care.

Pay: $17.64-$26.62 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 per week
