Housekeeping Attendant

Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Administration, the housekeeper is responsible for providing a disinfected, clean, sanitary, and safe environment for the clients, employees, and visitors at the Pine LodgeResidential Treatment Facility. Typical Duties and responsibilities includeAdhering to the policies and procedures as established by PineLodgeCleans, sanitizes and disinfects all areas, equipment and floors Discharge cleaningCleans walls, ceilings, fixtures, furnishings and equipmentCleans windows, ledges, sills, curtains and blindsCleans vents, heat registers, light fixtures, fans, and air returnductsCleans sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, mirrors, shelves, and allbathroom fixturesCleans cupboards, doorknobs, rails, light switches, counters, garbage cans Cleans specific areas: bedrooms, programming rooms, storage rooms, closets, officesWorks in conjunction with the Maintenance staff to maintain floors, collect and disposal of garbage.Ensures mops, pails, cleaning cloths and cleaning tools are cleaned and disinfectedCleans the stairwell and elevator areaCleans and maintains equipment (vacuums, floor cleaner,washer/dryers, etc.)Reports any unsafe conditions or maintenance concernsPrepares cleaning solutionsChecks and re-stocks bathroom suppliesCollects, washes, and distributes linen (bedding and towels)Tracks and orders supplies as necessaryIdentifies for improvements to the Director of Administration on a timely basis.Participating in staff meetings and training eventsCarrying out other relevant duties as may be designated Educational RequirementsGrade 12Knowlege of WHIMS an assetCriminal Record Check - Vuneral sector is required as well as valid Drivers License is an asset
