Panini?s Italian Cucina is a fast-paced Italian restaurant. We are looking for a talented individual to join our growing team.

*This position is for our Jasper Avenue location at 8544 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton.*

*Responsibilities:*

• Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Panini?s Italian Cucina.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain food preparation areas, equipment, and work surfaces to ensure safe and sanitary food handling.
• Ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperatures.
• Check ingredients for quality and freshness, label and date products, and rotate stock.
• Follow the restaurant?s standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
• Take responsibility for the quality of food served.
• Stock and maintain sufficient food products at line stations to support smooth service.
• Handle and store food products and supplies according to restaurant procedures.
• Prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients using appropriate kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Portion, plate, and garnish dishes according to recipe and presentation standards.
• Check food for doneness using appropriate methods, including temperature checks.
• Assist with prep work during quieter periods.
• Support other cooks during busy service periods.
• Close the kitchen according to station checklists and assist teammates with closing duties.
• Coordinate with fellow employees to meet guests? needs and support efficient restaurant operations.
• Assist wherever needed to maintain service and quality standards.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
