Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) ? Part-Time / Full-Time

Vita Health Cardiac Center, an established private cardiovascular clinic in North York, Toronto, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a strong background in cardiology to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced cardiologist, providing comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing patient management through both in-person and virtual consultations.

Key Responsibilities:

\* Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and patient consultations.

\* Diagnose, treat, and manage cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, atrial fibrillation, and dyslipidemia.

\* Prescribe and optimize cardiovascular medications within the NP?s scope of practice.

\* Review and interpret cardiac investigations, including echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitors, and laboratory results.

\* Provide ongoing patient follow-up, preventive cardiology care, and cardiovascular risk management.

\* Collaborate with the lead cardiologist to develop individualized treatment plans.

\* Maintain accurate medical records and provide patient education.

Qualifications:

\* Current Nurse Practitioner registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), in good standing.

\* Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in cardiology or cardiovascular patient management.

\* Strong knowledge of cardiovascular conditions, diagnostic testing, and evidence-based treatment.

\* Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.

\* Previous experience in a hospital cardiology department, preferably at a university-affiliated hospital, is a strong asset.

\* Experience in outpatient cardiology and virtual patient consultations is preferred.
