Job description
Work must be completed both in person and remotely.
Work setting
- Rural area
- Various locations
- Work in employer's/client's home
- Willing to relocate
- Nursing home/home for the aged
- Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment
- Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
- Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
- Administer first aid in emergency situations
- Clean, trim and polish nails
Requirements
Languages: English
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year; or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
Security and safety
- Criminal record check
- Vulnerable sector check
- Tuberculosis test
