*Overview*

The Registered Early Childhood Educator supports children?s learning, development, and wellbeing through engaging, inclusive classroom experiences. This role combines childcare and teaching with thoughtful communication and organized daily routines.

*Responsibilities*

• Plan and lead age-appropriate learning activities grounded in early childhood education, adapting approaches to children?s interests and abilities.
• Provide attentive childcare, maintain a safe and welcoming classroom, and support children with disabilities through inclusive practices.
• Communicate with families and colleagues in English and French as appropriate, sharing clear updates and recording relevant information.
• Organize classroom materials, manage time effectively, and use basic computer operations and writing skills to support daily work.
• Your impact: Consistent, inclusive support helps children participate confidently and enables colleagues to coordinate care.

*Qualifications*

Required: Practical childcare, teaching, communication, organization, time management, and basic computer skills support safe classroom routines and clear records. Preferred: Experience working with children, classroom experience, early childhood education, special education, or individuals with disabilities is valuable; bilingual English and French skills, leadership, and strong writing are additional strengths.

Pay: $25.86 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 ? 40.0 per week
