In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure backend systems.<br /> <br /> The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of enterprise Java development experience, a strong background in big data processing using Apache Spark, and a passion for engineering excellence. While this is primarily a backend role, knowledge of Angular UI is a plus.<br /> <br /> <b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br /> <b>System Architecture:</b> Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable, and microservices-based backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.<br /> <b>Data Processing:</b> Architect and optimize large-scale, distributed data processing pipelines using Apache Spark.<br /> <b>Database Management:</b> Write complex SQL/NoSQL queries and optimize database performance for high-throughput applications.<br /> <b>API Development:</b> Design and implement secure, well-documented RESTful APIs.<br /> <b>Mentorship & Code Quality:</b> Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior and mid-level developers.<br /> <b>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</b> Partner closely with frontend teams, product managers, and DevOps to deliver seamless end-to-end features.<br /> <br /> <b>Required Technical Skills & Qualifications:</b><br /> <b>Experience: </b>7+ years of professional software development experience primarily focused on backend engineering.<br /> <b>Core Java:</b> Deep expertise in Java (Java 8/11/17+), including multithreading, concurrency, memory management, and design patterns.<br /> <b>Frameworks:</b> Extensive experience with Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data).<br /> <b>Big Data Frameworks:</b> Proven track record of building and tuning production-grade data pipelines using Apache Spark (Core, SQL, or Streaming).<br /> <b>Databases:</b> Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).<br /> <b>Tools & DevOps:</b> Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions), Maven/Gradle, and Docker.<br /> <br /> <b>Nice-to-Have Skills:</b><br /> <b>Frontend Knowledge:</b> Familiarity or hands-on experience with Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, state management), enabling smooth full-stack collaboration.<br /> <b>Cloud Platforms:</b> Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).<br /> <b>Container Orchestration:</b> Knowledge of Kubernetes<br /> <br /> <b>Soft Skills:</b><br /> Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.<br /> Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in an agile environment.<br /> Proven ability to take ownership of projects from concept to deployment</div>
