Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver

Operator class 1 driver

We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods between our facilities and our partners. The ideal candidate possesses a strong sense of responsibility, an exemplary driving record, and a constant commitment to safety standards. Main Responsibilities Transportation & Operations

• Transport goods according to established routes and schedules.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of equipment, as needed.
• Operate various trucks , including: vacuum (vidange), tanker (citerne), roll-off, semi-trailer, and boom truck (camion flèche).

Waste Management

• Handle the pumping and treatment of liquid and solid waste, including hydrocarbons, washwater, and hazardous materials.

Safety & Compliance

• Comply with road laws , transportation standards, and internal procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report any mechanical anomalies or hazardous situations.

Documentation & Reporting

• Complete transport documents , route sheets, and required reports.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (FM) driver?s license.
• Exemplary driving record (clean abstract).
• WHMIS (SIMDUT) and TDG (TMD) certifications are an asset.
• Experience in industrial , maritime, or petroleum transport is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and freight transport.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (light handling/lifting).
• Ability to work outdoors and in port environments.
