Assistant Store Manager

673099 NB Ltd operates four Needs Convenience fuel and convenience stores in Saint John and Rothesay. We're hiring up to four reliable, hands-on Assistant Store Managers, one for each store, to help lead the store and keep it running smoothly every shift.

• Supervise and coordinate sales associates and cashiers on shift
• Build weekly work schedules and assign daily duties
• Train new staff and help with hiring, onboarding and performance check-ins
• Authorize refunds, returns and payment issues
• Prepare sales, cash and inventory reports, and help complete weekly paperwork
• Make sure the store meets Needs Convenience standards for cleanliness, safety, compliance and customer service
• Run the store when the Store Manager is away
• Serve customers and cover cash as needed

What we're looking for:

• Supervisory or leadership experience, retail or convenience an asset
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong English communication skills
• Dependable, organized and calm under pressure
• Available for early mornings, evenings and weekends
